• Residents can call 514-280-0789 to find out if swimming is allowed. The borough is being very cautious about water quality to ensure the health and safety of swimmers. Swimming may be prohibited during violent storms or as a preventive measure before and after rainfall. Swimming may also be prohibited for 24 to 72 hours if stormwater or sewage system drainage is overloaded. The duration will depend on the severity of the situation.
• When there is no lifeguard in the swimming area, swimming is not recommended and is at your own risk due to high water levels and heavy currents.

The beach is universally accessible from the entrance to the site to the swimming zone.
